GlassBuild America takes place every year, but at different locations in the USA. From 10^th to 12^th September 2007 Atlanta, as in 2005, was again the venue for GlassBuild.

On our exhibition stand we presented the innovations in ATHENA 2008 to an interested public. It was pleasing that the demand kept us so busy - confirmation that out efforts in continually developing and optimizing ATHENA had proved worthwhile. Our product presentations were very well received and our visitors were keen to take the opportunity of obtaining a complimentary ATHENA test version to try out in their daily work routine. GlassBuild 2007 was a very special event for our new American dealers, Eric Kissel of Aspen Drafting and Bill Cole of Kinon Corp. They provide us with active support in the USA and Canada.

In the USA there is a substantial and growing interest in definitive measures for environmental protection and great value is now placed on methods of saving energy. Flixo, the thermal analysis and reporting program, offers the best options here since it is precisely tailored to these needs. As one might expect, there was a lot of interest. The trade visitors were also very taken with the level of performance offered by SJ Mepla, the software for stress calculations in glass construction.

After taking part in this very successful exhibition, GlassBuild 2008 in Las Vegas has also been included in our show planning as a definite date.
