Twice each year, in the spring and the fall, the SAIE is held in Bologna. We took part from the 13^th to 17^th March for the first time in the spring show, SaieDue, the international fair for building accessories and interior finishing. On the exhibition site "Bologna Fiera" over 1,400 national and international exhibitors had plenty of scope for presenting their products on the 155,000 m² area. And over 133,000 visitors took advantage of this opportunity.

On our stand, which we manned together with the company, Orgadata, we recorded lots of interest in our products. Many visitors had already heard of ATHENA and were very taken with the versatility which ATHENA offers to designers in the field of metal construction. From our numerous presentations, prospective customers were able to appreciate its extraordinary range of features and performance capabilities.

In Italy environmental protection and energy savings are becoming increasingly important and so its no surprise that the comprehensive thermal computation methods of Flixo, our software for thermal analysis and reporting, were particularly well received by the public. Also we were able to give the trade visitors an idea of the performance capability of SJ Mepla, the program for stress calculations in glass construction.

The offer of test versions for trials in the user's own system found plenty of takers. Apart from contact with interested visitors and new customers, we were pleased to be able to welcome existing customers and show them the new features.
