The fair management at BAU 2007 was able to announce a new visitor record: With more than 207,000
trade visitors the 200,000 mark was exceeded for the first time in the 40-year history of the BAU
exhibition. The proportion of 36,000 foreign visitors from 143 countries was even an overproportional
increase of 20% compared to BAU 2005. The fair management was pleased with "more visitors, increased
internationality and the extended range" and sensed a world-wide upwards trend in the construction industry.
Also on the joint stand run by CAD-PLAN and Orgadata the improved atmosphere in construction was clearly
felt. The interest in our products ATHENA, Flixo and SJ MEPLA was very lively and with the active support
of our dealers from China, Dubai, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Rumania we were able to respond to
the needs of our international public in the best possible manner. Product demonstrations took place
at our presentation stations almost without interruption. On a number of days the developers of the
software products flixo and SJ MEPLA were available for in-depth specialist discussions with the
well-informed public.
A special highlight was the fair party we held on our stand. We had the opportunity to indulge
the "Who is who" of the facade sector with snacks and selected wines and so almost 400 guests
exuberantly celebrated to the groovy sounds of the former Bro'Sis singer Indira and Band till
well into the night.
With its promising specialist discussions and interesting contacts with business friends and
customers, we judge the participation at BAU 2007 as our most successful exhibition participation
to date. BAU in Munich has again proved to be an immensely important exhibition for us and so
our participation at BAU 2009 is already a foregone conclusion.
