From the 13^th -15^th September 2005 "GlassBuild America" was held in the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta/ USA. The exhibition for glass, windows and doors, which takes place annually in various cities in the USA, this year achieved record visitor figures with 8,000 participants. The figure of 482 exhibiting firms also exceeded the expectations of the exhibition organizers.

With 217,000 m² of floor area, the "GlassBuild America" exhibition in Atlanta was able to offer exhibitors about 39% more stand space in comparison to 2003. This enormous increase is an indication of the growing interest of exhibiting companies and the national and international importance of this exhibition. The efforts of the organizers in promoting and marketing this exhibition in good time and to a targeted group must certainly have contributed to its growth.

In 2006 "GlassBuild America" is planned to be held in Las Vegas from 19^th - 21^st September.

As in the last two previous years, CAD-PLAN also participated at this exhibition. With our American dealer, Steve Harrison, we presented the new version of ATHENA 2006. The extensive new features and improvements in this software found great interest and impressed many experts in the field. The new products flixo 4.1 and SJ MEPLA were also presented and went down very well with the visitors.

We were able to make many good contacts, prospects of new business appeared during the demonstrations and the response amongst the visitors to our stand was very positive. We came away with the conclusion that during this exhibition CAD-PLAN had found many new potential customers on the American market and had substantially increased the extent to which it is known.

And next year in Las Vegas we will be taking part again and looking forward to new and interesting meetings with specialists from all over the world.
