Loading Athena on Autocad Architecture and Mechanical Desktop

1.) Start Auto CAD Architecture (2010?) with the Auto   CAD Architecture profile.

2.) Close it again. ATHENA installs on the last active Auto CAD profile.

3.) Install ATHENA user defined.
4.) Select Auto CAD Architecture as target.

5.) Use the default paths for setup.

6.) Start ATHENA, close it again.

7.) Start AutoCAD Mechanical with the AutoCAD Mechanical profile.

8.) Close it again.

9.) Install ATHENA user defined.
10.) Select AutoCAD Mechanical as target.

11.) Use the default paths for setup.

12.) Start ATHENA

13.) If you want to / have to change paths to the network, you must change them TWICE, in AutoCAD Architecture AND in AutoCAD Mechanical

14.) For Mechanical you must change paths and exchange 2 Files, that it works. See PDF in the attached ZIP File

12.) There is one thing that has to be done differently than described in the PDF.
The PDF describes an installation on ACM alone. If you want to run ATHENA on ACM and ACA, you must not change the ACAD.LSP and ACADDOC.LSP in the ATHENA programs folder.

Instead of that do the following:

- MOVE the original ACAD.LSP and ACADDOC.LSP from the ATHENA programs folder to the AC-Architecture programs folder:

- Copy the ACAD.LSP and ACADDOC.LSP from the ZIP file to the AC-Mechanical programs folder. (c:\Program Files\AutoCAD Mechanical 2010\)

 When you install it that way, ATHENA will run on Architecture and on Mechanical.
